Alexandra Laliberté De Gagné

She is currently doing a Master degree in European Studies at the University of Aix-Marseille, which focuses mainly on the management of European projects and on European programs. Before, she did a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in medieval history at the university of Toulouse. Her thesis was about the Balkans and the notion of identity and the struggle against Ottoman rule in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. She is also doing, in parallel to her professional master, a PhD at the university of Toulouse in history. Her objective would be to finish the doctorate in the field of History and to pursue her researches, or eventually, to work in institutions or organizations on European projects such as ERASMUS + (Capacity Building).

Sarah Zapf

She is currently studying in her last year of the Bachelor’s degree program of International Relations and Management at the University of Erfurt in Germany. As her major subject is the field of International Relations, she intended to pursue a challenging and diversified internship place for completing the required four week internship within her studies. Consequently, the Institute of International Studies at the Charles University provides various aspects of an advantageous internship. Since she is writing her Bachelor’s thesis about analysing the factors and circumstances concerning a possible two-state solution of Israel and Palestine, the current various academic offers of the Faculty, like specific  lectures linked to the evaluation of the Middle East political situation, are in addition of great interest to her when completing the internship in Prague.

Laura Čiuplytė

She is a 22 years old student from Lithuania studying in Kaunas University of Technology. Her main major is Public Policy and secondary studies of Business Administration. It is her 4th and last year of Bachelor degree studies. Last two semesters she was studying in Charles University Prague as an Erasmus+ student. She is currently writing bachelor thesis with a topic of German and Austrian foreign policy since a year of 2000. This is the reason why she decided to have an internship in Charles University department of German and Austrian studies. She expects to get experience in various fields, from organizational skills to management and academic research and hopefully be helpful for the department. In her near future she would like to spend a year having internships in Embassies or any organizations where she could work on international level and hopefully apply for Master’s degree in Germany or Austria, so she could strengthen her German language skills.
